Articulating Jib Cranes

Articulating Jib Cranes can position loads in places you cannot reach with traditional jibs. They provide easy rotation and consistent responsiveness when positioning loads throughout the crane’s coverage area. Articulating jibs are great for reaching around corners or into machines.

Gorbel®’s PIVOT PRO® is an articulating jib that is specifically designed for applications under 150 lbs. Its smaller capacity allows it to be lighter and less bulky, making it easy to move. Traditional jib cranes can be difficult to rotate when the load is on the inner half of the boom. The PIVOT PRO® is easier to rotate in close to the free standing mast or building column. This lessens the physical stress on workers, reduces employee injuries, and leads to increased efficiency.

What are Articulating Jib Cranes?

Gorbel Articulating Jib Cranes differ from traditional jib cranes by having a pivot point along the jib arm. This allows you to position loads in places you cannot reach with traditional jibs. These jibs can position and spot a load around obstructions, through doorways, or rotate in close to the free standing mast or building column. Available in capacities up to 2000 lbs. Free Standing Articulating Jibs are also offered with foundationless options to save you installation time and money.

Ceiling Mounted Articulating Jib Crane

The AJ360-C Ceiling Mounted Articulating Jib Crane is mounted overhead leaving nothing to disrupt workflow in the production area below. It can be stationary mounted or platform supported. Available in standard capacities up to 2000 lbs. and spans to 16’.

Wall Mounted Articulating Jib Crane

The AJ200 Wall Mounted Articulating Jib Crane is perfect for applications that require maneuvering under obstructions or around obstacles and there is an adequate wall/column to support the crane. Available in standard capacities up to 2000 lbs. capacity and spans to 16’.

Free Standing PIVOT PRO

Our Free Standing Pivot Pro® can be paired with vacuum tube lifters and air hoists and is capable of 360˚ rotation on primary boom and 300˚ on secondary arm. It’s available in capacities to150 lbs. and spans to 12’.
